Koi Ramen & Sushi

As a newcomer to Grand Junction, I’ve been eager to explore the local culinary scene, and my recent visit to this charming establishment was a delightful introduction. I ordered the teriyaki chicken skewers as an appetizer, followed by the smoked pork miso ramen, with the addition of a soft-boiled egg. While the menu noted that the appetizer would include five skewers, only three were initially brought out. Upon bringing this to the attention of the manager, he responded with sincere professionalism and grace. He kindly explained that a recent change had been made to the menu’s portioning, though unfortunately, my particular copy had not yet been updated. In a thoughtful gesture, he promptly brought out the remaining two skewers to honor what was printed. It was a small but meaningful example of excellent customer care. The smoked pork miso ramen was rich and hearty, with a wonderfully satisfying depth. While the broth was slightly under-seasoned for my taste, a splash of soy sauce quickly brought it to life. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork tender, and the added soft-boiled egg was a luxurious touch. I appreciated the subtle heat in the broth, which added complexity without overwhelming the dish. The portion size was generous and comforting—just what one hopes for in a satisfying bowl of ramen. The service throughout was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. All in all, it was a lovely dining experience, and I look forward to returning and discovering more of what this promising spot has to offer.

I got the Takoyaki, Hamachi with jalapeno appetizers. The Tonkotsu ramen and a dragon roll. The food was amazing and so was the service. Authentic Japanese food. I'll be back again for sure.

Koi hits the mark with both their ramen and sushi offerings! You don't often find a place that does both well, but they manage to excel at both. The ramen broths are flavorful and satisfying, while the sushi is fresh and well-prepared. The kitchen doesn't compromise on either specialty, which is impressive since many restaurants struggle when trying to master multiple cuisines. Whether you're in the mood for a warm, comforting bowl of ramen or fresh sushi, you'll find quality options here. A great spot for when you can't decide between ramen or sushi - here you don't have to choose!

We loved our experience here. The ramen was amazing and full of flavor. We also had the seaweed salad and takoyaki, our favorite appetizers. We love trying different places for ramen, and not all of them are great. This one, however was perfect. Will be back.

Stopped by for an early dinner and this place has the best ramen. Service was friendly and very fast. I appreciate how authentic our dishes were, and we look forward to eating here again fellas thank you!

I rarely give 5 stars, but everything just clicked at this place. The food was awesome. Spiced perfectly for Japanese food. The staff was very attentive at the right time. Never when I had a mouth full of food. It's was very pleasant. It's not a fancy place. Very humble and set up well

This was one of the best ramen I've ever had! Koi Ramen & Sushi has such a lovely vibe - the whole place is full of style and little details that make it super cozy! I totally recommend checking it out, we were lucky to been there today! We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the beef bao buns (the beef was a bit too fatty for my taste, but still really delicious! Just something to keep in mind if you prefer lean meat :) The ramen was absolutely tasty - the portion was huge and I'm obsessed with the flavor! Great food, the interior decor and service were amazing! New favorite in Gj. Tried the spicy chicken ramen, sushi, and boba. Loved it all!
